About SAM modules:

SAM modules are high-quality measured value transformers, which make the structure possible of compact signal conditioning units in the PC measuring technique. They can be inserted in SAM module boxes or into OEM specific carrier systems. Both the module box and the carrier system contain auxiliary energy and the adapter to the PC measuring board. Each SAM module makes a measuring channel available. SAM modules are available for many measuring sensors - voltage, current, PT100, thermocouples, ICP, bridge signals - with or without galvanic signal isolation. All modules have a bipolar 10V output signal range.

SAM-Modulbox S1

The SAM module box S1 has a durable aluminum housing and offers place for 5 SAM modules. It contains also the current supply and the connecting adapter to the PC measuring board. The auxiliary energy of the SAM modules is galvanically isolated from the supply voltage of the box. The connection of the measuring signals is made either by BNC sockets or 4pin Lemo connector size 1.

SAM System case S2 - case for 7 SAM Module carriers

The SAM system case S2 has a rugged aluminium case and 7 slots for SAM-MC module carriers, each for two SAM modules (Miniaturized Signal Conditioning Modules). It also contains a wide range power supply unit and an universal 25-pin D-SUB adapter to connect the output signals of the SAM amplifiers to a data acquisition board. With a S2 system case it is possible to build up signal conditioning systems with max. 14 analog input channels.

SAM-MC - Module carrier for system cases S2 and S3

The SAM-MC module carrier has two free slots for SAM modules. The input signal of each SAM module is wired to a connector placed in the front plate of the module carrier. Available are front plates with isolated BNC connectors, Lemo connectors size 1 or mini thermo connectors. The internal system connector supplies the SAM modules and transfers the output signals of the SAM amplifiers to the data acquisition modules (S3) or to the connector in the rear panel of the system case (S2).
